A modern scientific and educational greenhouse with an area of nearly 1,000 m² has been designed for research, experimental work and educational activities related to plant production. The facility is equipped with advanced solutions that enable precise control of growing conditions and the creation of different climate environments tailored to the requirements of scientific research and experiments.
One of the key features of the greenhouse is its 9 independent climate zones, allowing several research projects and experiments to be conducted simultaneously under different environmental conditions. Each climate zone can be individually managed using a climate control computer, providing precise control over the parameters inside each separate zone. This solution offers extensive possibilities for conducting experiments, comparing results and working with different plant species and cultivation technologies.
Precise climate and growing condition control
The greenhouse is equipped with a high-quality shading and thermal insulation screen system, which allows the amount of solar radiation reaching the plants to be regulated while helping to reduce heat loss. Combined with the heating system and automated climate control, the solution enables growing conditions to be maintained according to the specific requirements of individual experiments and crops.
The facility also features an automated irrigation system, ensuring controlled water delivery to the plants. Growing tables provide an efficient way to organise research, experimental and educational cultivation areas.
Effective air exchange is ensured by roof ventilation systems, allowing the conditions inside the greenhouse to be regulated efficiently. Automation of individual processes reduces the need for manual operation and enables more precise control of experimental cultivation.
A research greenhouse designed for a wide range of applications
The structural and technological solutions used in the facility reflect its specific purpose as a scientific, experimental and educational greenhouse. Part of the building is covered with insulated sandwich panels, while the remaining sections feature tempered safety glass. This combination of materials allows individual areas of the facility to be adapted to their specific functions and the requirements of the research being conducted.
Nearly 1,000 m² of cultivation space, combined with 9 independent climate zones, provides a flexible environment for conducting plant research, testing cultivation technologies, studying the impact of environmental conditions on plant growth and development, and delivering practical educational activities.
This project combines the greenhouse structure, climate control technology and advanced cultivation equipment into one integrated system. As a result, the facility can serve both scientific and research purposes as well as modern education and training related to plant production.
