The 5th International Nursery Conference is now behind us!
This year, Agro-Sur joined the distinguished group of conference sponsors. Our presence was very well received – many participants emphasized that plant production and horticultural technology suppliers form an interconnected system. Agro-Sur has always looked at growers’ needs in a broader context.
Manage change – be a leader, not a bystander!
The 5th International Nursery Conference, held on 25–26 November 2025 at the Qubus Hotel in Bydgoszcz, once again demonstrated how much the horticultural sector needs cooperation, the exchange of experience and a clear, forward-thinking direction of development. The event is widely regarded as the most important meeting for ornamental plant producers in Poland. One of the keynote speakers was Adam Legutko, board member of W. Legutko – and a long-standing Agro-Sur client.
“This year’s motto – ‘Manage Change!’ – felt particularly relevant. Climate change, new customer expectations, environmental considerations, digitalisation and pressure for efficiency are challenges faced by everyone working in horticulture. The conference became a place where these topics were not just theory, but genuine dialogue between practitioners,”
notes Mariusz Ciesielski, Sales & Quality Manager at Agro-Sur.
Agro-Sur among the sponsors – and at the centre of industry discussions
In our conversations with growers, one theme kept coming back: Agro-Sur’s solutions are exactly what today’s market demands.
Whether we talked about foil tunnels, foil greenhouses, nursery blocks, benches, garden centres or climate control computers, clients repeatedly highlighted the same priorities:
- full control over cultivation conditions,
- production security and reliability,
- energy efficiency and cost optimisation,
- Agro-Sur’s flexibility.
Two days of inspiration and practical insights
The conference proved once again that the industry grows stronger when it has space to talk. We discussed modern management, team motivation, and how technology – including artificial intelligence – supports real-life production. There was no shortage of topics related to shifting plant assortments and eco-innovations that are already shaping nursery operations today.
These were two intensive days – full of lectures, workshops and inspiring conversations behind the scenes. The most valuable element, without question, was the direct exchange of experience with fellow professionals.
“We are returning from Bydgoszcz energised, with clear takeaways and the strong belief that Agro-Sur is exactly where it should be. Our technologies and structures are a real answer to growers’ needs – and we are glad we could discuss them directly with the people we create them for,”
summarises Mariusz Ciesielski.
