Exactly on May 5, Agro-Sur celebrated its 20th anniversary. This date coincided with the commissioning of the investment that Agro-Sur implemented in Ukininkas Audrius Juska, Lithuania. The greenhouse is one of the most modern facilities in Europe. The 6-hectare greenhouse complex was built and then comprehensively equipped with systems of double thermal insulation and vertical side walls curtains, the heating system divided into three independent heating circuits: lower, upper and vegetation (with the possibility of smooth regulation), cultivation gutters, irrigation with a water treatment system with nutrient recirculation, a CO2 system and climate control, as well as a system of drip-edge and verge circulation fans. The ventilation system uses an innovative solution in the form of deep windows, which significantly improves the ventilation of the building. The facility will be used for production purposes. The project also included the construction of social facilities and a cold store for vegetables storage , as well as a complete communication infrastructure. The commissioning was carried out in a solemn atmosphere in the presence of the Lithuanian authorities, which underlines the importance of investments in this region.
